SPRING
Spring is located about 27 miles north-northwest of Houston, and is known for its many parks, including large ones like Jones State Forest and smaller ones like Veterans Memorial Park. The town also offers plenty to do, such as golfing or attending one of the festivals throughout the year. Spring offers a variety of activities for all ages. It is home to four large zoos, one of which is located right in the town itself. The Jones State Forest and Bay Area Coliseum District offer outdoor activities like mountain biking and hiking. The town has won awards and has been named 1 of the “Best Places to Live” by CNN/Money Magazine as well as one of the Best Small Towns in America by Southern Living magazines. There are many large corporations located near Spring TX which makes it an extremely active city without feeling overcrowded. Spring TX is well known for its festivals and the mild weather that makes it a great place to live year-round. Spring is ideally located with schools, restaurants, entertainment venues and medical facilities all close by.
