NEEDVILLE
Needville is a city in Fort Bend County, Texas. It is 45 miles south of Houston on Highway 36, and ten miles south of Rosenberg on Highway 36. It is known as "The Home of Friendly People...where thousands live the way millions wish they could."
Needville offers a variety of amenities for their residents. Harvest Fest Park and Skrabanek Park are available for picnics, play areas, and jogging. Brazos Bend State Park and the George Observatory are located about 20 miles from Needville. This 4,897 acre park provides hiking trails and camping areas, as well as bank or pier fishing. The Arroyo Seco Historical Park is at the A.P. George Ranch located on FM 762 northeast of Needville. Visitors are treated to a journey back in time as they tour the 19th century village and ranch grounds. Community activities include Country Christmas, Texian Market Days, the Needville Youth Fair, Harvest Fest, and the annual Needville Volunteer Fire Department's Bar-B-Q.
Needville is serviced by the Needville Independent School District.
