Guide to Creating the Perfect Galentine's Set Up
Galentine's Day is a day to celebrate female friendship and show your appreciation for your best friends to let them know how much they mean to you. Plus, it’s a perfect chance for you and your friends to spend a day doing something fun and festive together! Partners in Building recently partnered with a local Dallas event company, LaFete, to showcase how a dreamy Galentine's set up looks like inside our Lakeview Downs model home, including a surprise at the end of the blog.
Decorating a home for a Valentines or Galentine's event starts with a theme, and for our theme we decided to stick with neutral pink colors and beautiful florals to accent the home. It was important for us to showcase how easily an event set up can be done inside your home, so we created a picnic style seating arrangement near the fireplace for a cozy feeling. Personalized details like Partners in Building branded stirrers, marquee letters and even branded cookies elevated this set up to represent our brand.

Having desserts and light bites at your Galentine's party is also important, so you and your friends can enjoy delicious bites along with an Instagram-worthy set up. Charcuterie boxes are a great addition to any event, allowing an abundance of different types of food that all taste great together. Whether you want to bake delicious cookies and desserts from your kitchen or purchase them, you can show your appreciation for your friends by having these delicious snacks at your event so that everyone can enjoy.

Our Lakeview Downs model home is located at 2174 Narrow Road in Lucas, Texas in a unique 1-acre community on the Highland Park peninsula of Lavon Lake. The high ceilings and exposed beams in the living area of our model creates a comfortable yet luxurious feeling to a home. The picnic set up was set up close to the kitchen island as well, making an easy transition for food and drinks to bring over. If you don’t want to do a picnic style set up in your living room, decorating the kitchen island with décor and food items is another option, allowing you to utilize the space you already have.
We knew this model home was an ideal space to host a Galentine's set up, with the living, dining and kitchen areas having a smooth transition between each room, making it the perfect event space in a home.

Making the most out of Galentine's Day starts with setting the right mood and planning a special day with lots of meaningful activities and gestures for your friends. Lastly, take lots of photos so you'll always have a reminder of the special day.
